Spreading God's Word

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis of our beliefs. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000. The ordinances of the church are believer's baptism and The Lord's  Supper.

Crossway Leadership Team

Crossway Church is an Elder led church. We believe that the Bible clearly teaches that a plurality of leadership is the best model and we have chosen to adhere to God's standard. Our belief, based on the Bible, is that the role of Elders is to protect, feed, lead, and care for the flock. We also have a very talented and Godly staff that is engaged in all of the ministries of the church. There are many, many others that lead in a variety of areas in our Church that we are thankful for. Each Elder/Staff member's contact info is below should you need to contact them. You can also contact the church office at (580)622-2550.

Our Beliefs

At our church, you will hear the word “gospel” repeatedly because it is the most important truth that we can know and experience. The gospel is not merely a message that needs to be shared with non-Christians, but also with Christians. It is not something that mature Christians move on from, but rather something that they move deeper into. The gospel is the lens in which we should view theology, ministry, and all aspects of life.

The Apostle Paul defined the word “gospel” concisely in 1st Corinthians 15:3-5 when he wrote, “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.” Simply put, the gospel is all about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, and the implications it has for us.
