Welcome to Crossway

Sunday August 1st, 2021

Thank you for choosing to worship with us today. If you are a guest, you can fill out a guest card from the chair in front of you, and turn it in to "Connection Corner" after the service to receive a gift from Crossway! Our prayer is that today the Lord Jesus will speak His truth into your life.
Deacon's Meeting August 1st at 5:00pm
This meeting should last 30-45 minutes, which will allow time to participate in the Campus Prayer night.
Missions Auction- Sunday August 8th, 5:30pm
Each year we raise money for our "Church Plant Ministry". We use this money to help churches and pastors, who are planting new churches, to get off the ground. We use the money for a wide variety of things, from salaries for pastors, to building needs, to helping us to go there and work with them. We have witnessed numerous churches get off the ground through the blessing of the Lord and our efforts. Join us for a good meal and a fun time.
Campus Prayer Night- August 1st at 6:00pm
This is an important night for everyone in our community. We meet at every school campus in our city and pray for our leaders in education, as well as parents and students. This is not some name it, claim it exercise but this IS a statement of our faith in our great God. Maybe more than any group, our educational leaders are under great pressure to conform to the world. We must stand beside them and encourage them to be bold in their witness and refute the philosophies being pushed by so many. Please pick a campus (Sulphur Elementary, Intermediate, Junior High, High School, Veritas, or OSD.) We will have leaders at each campus.
D-Groups Begin August 22nd (Small Group Discipleship)
These groups meet on Sunday nights, some in homes and some at the church. Their two arms of focus are discipleship (growing closer to God) and fellowship (growing closer to each other). Very soon we will post the list of D-Group leaders and their subject matter, at Connection Corner in the lobby.
