Crossway family, we encourage you to use these resources  to worship in your homes today. Take time to be strengthened and encouraged by Bill's message from Luke 9:46-62, sing songs that center your heart and mind on truth, and to pray for yourself and the world around us.

As you sing songs at home today be reminded that Jesus has purchased victory over anxiety and fear through His work on the cross. Rest in knowing that He is Lord in the midst of the storm and rejoice in the unshakable hope that we have in Jesus.

MESSAGE FROM GOD'S WORD

Read Luke 9:46-62

Sunday sermon notes are listed below

March 29, 2020 Our Adversary: 4 Personal Ways to Stumble

Bill's Outline:

1. We stumble when life becomes about us and our comfort.

      A. Self-centeredness blinds us to God.

      B. Self-centeredness blinds us to the needs of others.

2. We stumble when jealousy causes us to attack our allies.

3. We stumble when we fixate on judgement rather than mercy.

      A. Be slow to ask for judgement on others.

      B. Be quick to extend mercy.

4. We stumble when we let things come between us and our responsibility to Him.

      A. Some are ready to follow Him as long as it is easy.

      B. Some have good intentions as long as it is on their terms.

      C. Some fully plan to follow Him someday.
