Missions

First Family Church in Albia, Iowa began in 2018 as a new church plant.  The original church building belonged to First Baptist Church, however, by God’s Grace the building has found new life as First Family Church.  Crossway has been involved with this new church plant almost from the beginning.   Jason and Dava have been phenomenal partners in church planting and have an amazing heart to see people come to know the Lord.  Crossway has taken three mission trips to Iowa and are planning on taking more this coming year to continue to see Albia, Iowa come to know Jesus.

Lake Church of Texoma began its life amidst the crazy 2020 pandemic.  However, Lake Church has been able to flourish and continue to make waves for the Gospel.  Lake Church began with patience.  For eight years the two ministers, Bobby and Mark, began to pray and discuss the possibility of planting a church on Lake Texoma.  As God began to move in that area and in the hearts of people around the lake, Lake Church went from being a prayer to God to being reality and praise for His answered prayer.   Crossway has been able to help Lake Church from the beginning and is excited about the opportunity to continue to partner with Lake Church as they make a eternal difference in the lives of people around Lake Church.

Springs of Life Church in Casita Springs, CA  began its life as First Baptist Church Casita Springs.  Crossway began its partnership with Springs of Life in 2016 when our initial mission trip to Casita Springs found us working to breath life into this small community.  Doug became the pastor in 2016 and since then we have seen the Lord continue to grow the congregation and to restore the hope of the community in a church that fulfills the great commission for God.  We are continuing to support Doug and Lynn as they minister in California and plan on taking more trips to help reach and rebuild the lives of the people of Casita Springs.
