The Light that Penetrates the Dark

I played for quite a few different coaches. I played for some really laid back guys and some very emotional guys. I played for some who seemed to let some things go and then others who were sticklers for details. Some spoke softly and some yelled. I cannot speak for others but I responded best to those who demanded from me (even at times more than I thought I had), and took no excuses. No, I did not “like” their demands, but I loved the fruit of their demands, I got far better than I would have without them, and I learned how to push myself even when the task seemed impossible to accomplish. I have often challenged students to be, who they were created to be. This week the Lord is going to challenge us to “Live what He has declared us to be, refuse to be swayed by the world, the flesh and the devil, and ultimately to arise to a new life.” Join us on Sunday as we see how much the light that we have become can change not only us but all who live within the reach of our lives.
