Value that Mate

We learned last week that the definition of marriage was given to us by God. He gave us His definition before sin, and it has never changed. Yes, sin made everything harder, and marriage is also harder since sin came into the world. God gave us guidelines for marriage that at times “seem” to favor men, especially if you listen to the culture describe the marriage relationship. This is not accurate. God gave us order rather than chaos, and specific roles to play as men and women. When we obey Him then our marriages have a much better chance to bring glory to Him.
