From the Beginning

We think of Jesus being born, living a normal life growing up in a first-century Jewish home, and then in His late twenties calling His disciples and entering full-time ministry. We remember the parables, like the Prodigal Son, The Lost Sheep, and others. We also remember the encounters with certain individuals like Zaachaeus, The Rich Young Ruler, the woman with the issue of blood, the religious leaders who were always trying to trick Him. When we think of Jesus and His cross, how many of us think, “Before the Foundation of the world?” Of course we do not, but the road to the cross began in eternity past! Wow, that means that Jesus has always been and that His sacrifice on the cross was not JUST the act of the religious leaders who hated Him or the corrupt Roman government. It means that God planned to give His life before He made a single particle of this universe. My friend, we serve a big God. Join us on Sunday and see just how big.
