4 Gifts for Believers

This week, we find the Apostle Paul praying for the Ephesian believers. Paul was a prayer warrior and we have 4 prayers that Paul prayed while he was in prison. 2 in Ephesians, 1 in Phil., and 1 in Col. This week we are going to look at what he prayed for these believers in Ephesus. He bragged on the reputation that they were gaining as a direct result of their faith. He wanted them praying for each other, and pursuing the Lord with passion. We know that in Rev when John writes to the church in Ephesus, he is critical of their failure to love as they did at the first. It is challenging to most of us to keep the fire. As we age we tend to be less passionate. Paul is still passionate about the Gospel in 2 Timothy when he knows that he is about to die.
