A Great God

This week is the story of Jonah! If you went to church at all as a kid then you have heard this story before. While some might think that this story is about Jonah actually it is about the mercy of God. God calls one of His special guys to go to a wicked people who hate the one true God and His people. Of course, we are going to see that the prophet chosen for the job would rather die than to go to these wicked people. This book ends on an interesting note, Jonah is mad sitting on a hill stewing about God being merciful to a group that he despises.
