It Doesn't Take as Long as you Think

Bill Leveridge

When I look back into my family history, I see some very godly people, some who were believers, but their devotion was not what it should have been. I also see some scoundrels, who claimed to believe, but the evidence for their belief was scarce to say the least, and then we have some downright heathens. What is interesting to me is that a number of the heathens within 15 years above or below me in age had parents or grandparents who loved the Lord Jesus and lived it out. What happened?

In the book of Nahum, we are going to see a people change from repentance and faith to full-fledged Nazis in 4 generations. We are going to see the importance of being faithful in all things, and this includes passing the baton to the next generation. I have a guaranteed future by faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. God raises up and takes down nations when He has had enough of their sinful ways. God saved Nineveh, but 4 generations later they are destroyed, what happened? Join us on Sunday to see what happens when godly people leave the future to chance.
