Why?

Jesus cried out from the cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Jesus is a truth teller. This means that for a time, God the Father forsook the Son. Before you panic, understand, this entire concept is beyond us. We CANNOT fully grasp it. Of course, it is in the Bible so there is a purpose for it being there, and since the Bible is God communicating to us, He put it there for us to think on and to understand at our level. No harder words were ever spoken. The perfect holy righteous Son of God is being forsaken by the Father. My subtitle this week is simply entitled, “WHY?” We will work through the Scriptures to explain the ramifications of Jesus very important question.
