The Delicate Balance

Let me give you a preview of our questions this week: 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite. Jesus is pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of the Jewish religious leaders. Jesus is not being a hater for calling them hypocrites, they absolutely were hypocrites. So how can we stand for truth in a world that hates truth without appearing to be judgmental or hateful toward others? I think everyone would probably agree that this requires much wisdom from God. Join us on Sunday as we dig into an issue where we must find God’s “delicate balance.”
